Day 1 | Welcome to Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town and meet your private driver to transfer to your 5* hotel, Ellerman House, which is located in the beautiful Camps Bay of Cape Town. Camp's Bay is nestled into the cliffs along the Atlantic seaboard of Cape Town and is a picturesque and vibrant beachfront neighborhood that epitomizes coastal beauty and leisure. Take the afternoon to get settled before your driver picks you up to go to a special tasting dinner at La Colombe, the best restaurant in Cape Town.

Day 2 | Lion’s Head Hike

Today you will set off on one of the world’s most unique and beautiful hikes. There are few places that offer rugged mountain landscapes, pristine beaches and the hustle of a major city all in one place. Cape Town has it all, and the best way to see it is from the peak of Lion’s Head. This hike is a thrilling adventure that offers breathtaking panoramic views and an exhilarating experience. Rising majestically above the city, Lion's Head is a distinctive mountain peak known for its resemblance to a lion's head.

Day 3 | Tour of Cape town

After breakfast meet your private driver and guide at the hotel to head out on a full day tour of Cape Town. Begin your tour by exploring the iconic landmarks of Cape Town, including the historic Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant Bo-Kaap neighborhood with its colorful houses. Ascend Table Mountain in a private cable car, where you'll be treated to panoramic views of the city, coastline, and surrounding mountains. Delve into the fascinating history of Cape Town with visits to significant sites such as Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, and the District Six Museum, which tells the story of the forced removals during apartheid. After your tour head back to the hotel for a special private dinner.

Day 4 | Leisure day & CGH

Today you should take time to relax at the beautiful Ellerman House property, take a swim, enjoy the art gallery, get a massage or hang down by the beach and grab some lunch. Ellerman House is a unique property that should be enjoyed so we feel its important to take a day and really make the most of your time there. We recommend stocking up from the Snack Pantry and getting a spot by the pool before the traditional 5pm Happy Hour out on the back terrace for custom gin and tonics. This is a great day to go to the Cape of Good Hope.

Day 5 | Travel to franschhoek

Today you will Cape Town and head to the wine country of Franschhoek. It is a 1 hour and 15 minute drive through mountaineous valleys and lush green landscapes. Franschhoek, nestled in the Cape Winelands of South Africa, is a charming and picturesque town renowned for its rich wine heritage and culinary delights. Surrounded by breathtaking mountains and vineyards, it offers a tranquil escape where visitors can indulge in wine tastings, gourmet dining experiences, and immerse themselves in the beauty of the countryside. Arrive at your accommodations, Mont Rochelle and get settled in before an afternoon wine tasting experience. Dinner tonight will be at La Petite Colombe.

Day 6 | wine tour

This morning you will head out on on an exclusive private guided wine tour through Franschhoek. Your expert guide will curate a bespoke itinerary, taking you to acclaimed wineries such as La Motte, Boshendal, Babylonstoren and Eikehof, where you can indulge in premium wine tastings, learn about the winemaking process, and savor the exquisite flavors of the region. With breathtaking vineyard landscapes as your backdrop, this private tour promises an immersive and unforgettable journey through Franschhoek's world-class wine culture.

Day 7 | Relax in wine country

Take the day to relax at your accommodations and enjoy Franschhoek. Today is a great day to go into the quaint town of Franschhoek and explore Main Street with its shops and cafes. You can also take a bike ride through the countryside or take a special visit to the abundant gardens of Babylonstoren.

Day 8 | fly to sabi sands

Today you will leave Franschhoek. After you check out of your hotel you will drive back to Cape Town and board your flight to Nelspruit airport. This will be a long flight as you have to go all the way across South Africa to the north eastern border with Mozambique. You will be entering bush country, and the territory of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, water buffalo and more. Your private driver will pick you up at the Nelspruit airport and drive you 1.5 hours to the Sabi Sands, and you will enter on of the most diverse and abundant game parks in the world. You will be taken to Dulini, a safari retreat in the Sabi Sands.

Day 9 | dulini moya

Each of the six luxury suites at Dulini Moya is decorated in a timeless blend of classic safari charm and indulgent comfort, offering a private haven of peace and serenity overlooking the Mabrak River.

Today will be your first day On Safari. There are two safari experiences per day, each one lasting roughly 3 hours. You go out on safari when the animals are most active, which is dawn and dusk. You start the day bright and early at 5:30am and head out in your open air Land Rover Defender to spot the animals.

Day 1012 | dulini moya

The opportunities for adventure at Dulini are endless. You can choose to do the standard two safari excursions each day, as well as extend your safari at night to enjoy traditional gin and tonics by the Land Rover in the bush. Your guide will ensure no dangerous animals are nearby and you will enjoy drinks and snacks as the sun sets over the Sabi Sands. It is a truly unique experience you will never forget. There is also and option to do a bush walk one day which will allow you to explore the bush on foot with your guide. This is an incredible experience but does require a bit of bravery to attempt.

Day 13 | Departure

Sadly now is time for your departure from Africa. You will fly back from Nelspruit to Cape Town and then catch your flight back to the US.

You also have the option to do another safari in Botswana if you are still ready for further adventure.
