Day 1 | ARRIVAL

Arrive at Jackson Hole Airport. Your hotel is about a 30-minute (18 miles) drive from the airport. We recommend that you rent a car for your stay.

Consider Jackson Hotel Hideout will be your home for next 3 nights. This lodge-style property is set on four acres, providing you with the peaceful environment associated with Wyoming. If you are looking for a total splurge on a hotel while on this trip, we suggest you consider Amangani.

After check in, spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the Teton Village. The village sits at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain resort where you can enjoy or be a spectator to a myriad of activities. A ride on the Bridger Aerial tram/gondola is a must for stunning 360-degree views of the Tetons and other mountain ranges. The view from the top of the mountain is amazing!

Enjoy a cocktail at the Four Season’s Handle Bar Restaurant followed by a fun dinner at the Mangy Moose, a great option after a long day of travel.

Day 2 | Teton River Float tour

Spend a morning at leisure. At 12:45 pm you will depart for a Teton River Float tour. You will float along the southern border of the Grand Teton National Park at Snake River Ranch. The boatmen will do all the work so that you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the area.

For dinner tonight you may want to try Binn 22.

We recommend an early night as you have a 6:30am departure for Yellowstone tomorrow.

Day 3 | Yellowstone Full Day Wildlife and Geology adventure

Your day will start early as you prepare for a 6:30am departure for a Yellowstone Full Day Wildlife and Geology adventure. You will have the option to select a public or private tour of Yellowstone. We can discuss your preference. This is a 12-hour tour, complete with a light breakfast, lunch, hot and cold beverages and snacks.

Once you return from Yellowstone, the evening is on your own. You may want to try the Calico Bar and Restaurant for dinner tonight.

Day 4 | Hiking to inspiration point

After checking out of your hotel you will make your way to Lake Jenny for a hike to Inspiration Point. From your hotel it is about 30 miles to the destination and the hike is approximately 6 miles round trip. You will have an option to take one of the Lake Jenny boats for a ride across the lake if you are more inclined to cut the length of the hike in half. This hike is extremely popular and can draw crowds as the day progresses, so a morning hike is recommended. You will be able to select from a variety of distance options so that you get the most enjoyment from this amazing location. After the hike, enjoy a tasty lunch at the Jenny Lake Lodge Dining room. Lunch is served from 11:30am-1pm and reservations are highly recommended.

After lunch make your way to The Wort Hotel where you will spend the next 3 nights. The hotel is about 21 miles from Lake Jenny.

After an early dinner you will have the opportunity to “Stargaze”. Jackson Hole is mostly protected and underdeveloped land which will allow you to view the stars, the Milky Way Galaxy and so much more, void of the usual light pollution associated with city life. You will be picked up at your hotel (around 7:30pm) and driven to the darkest location possible. All of the equipment you need to see the night sky will be provided. You will never look at the universe the same way again!

Dinner options are plentiful. You may want to make an early reservation at Local Restaurant and Bar. Locals and visitors alike enjoy this restaurant.

Day 5 | fly fishing on the Snake River & Exploring jackson

Today experience the art of fly fishing on the Snake River. Your expert guide will be with you every step of the way as you learn and develop a passion for catching local trout via this method of fishing. You will return to RVA with fish tales to share with your friends. When you return from fishing, garb lunch at Café Genevieve.

The afternoon is a great time to walk the streets and shops of Jackson. This town is like none other and takes you back to the days of the “Old West”. Check out the iconic antler arches in the town square... a great photo opportunity!

Or you may want to visit Wyoming’s oldest small craft brewery- Snake River Brewery. For dinner tonight you may want to try the Snake River Grill which is very close to your hotel, or opt for a meal and live music at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.

Start the day early with a Sunrise Wildlife tour in the Grand Teton National Park (GTNP). This is a 4 hour tour to acquaint you with the wildlife of the area. This tour makes for a perfect final day in Jackson Hole. Together with a local guide and a telescope for viewing the animals close up, you will likely see bears, moose, and bison to name a few. After the tour be sure to visit the Wildlife Art Museum and the Turner Fine Art Gallery (Kathryn Mapes Turner).

If you have not eaten dinner at the Snake River Grill yet, be sure to try it tonight.
